Biographical Information:
Douglas Dunks is a professional genealogist, genealogical speaker/lecturer, and the principal for DUNKS antecedents. Douglas began his foray into genealogy with the passing of his father in 1995, inheriting his research into this unique family name.

Douglas is a member of the National Genealogical Society, The New England Historic Genealogical Society, the Florida State Genealogical Society (2014 Conference Chair), the Ohio Genealogical Society, and the Bay County Genealogical Society (Liaison to FSGS). Additionally, Douglas is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, The Genealogical Speaker's Guild, and is 'on the clock' with the Board for Certification of Genealogists pursuing certification.

Douglas holds a Bachelor of Science degree from National College, a Masters of Education degree from National-Louis University, and is currently completing a Doctorate of Philosophy degree from Northcentral University.
